02/11/10: My remix of jenn mierau's "Hum" has broken into the Top 10 of STOMPY.COM's Soul Downloads Chart! Meanwhile, Leon Louder's remix and jenn's original have both spent time in the Top 50 of Stompy's Downtempo Charts! Thank you very much for all your support!

01/20/10: I've just posted the third installment of The Beautiful Ones via SoundCloud. This one is called "The Beautiful Shirley Ann" and is dedicated to my lovely mother on this, the anniversary of her birth. 01/19/10: Jenn Mierau's "Hum", the first release on our label Semisquare Music is out and about! It's available at all the finer digital download stores and includes remixes by me and Leon Louder. Listen and read all about it and tell your friends!

12/08/08: Finally, the wait is over! THIS WAY (featuring Christa) is out today on Bargrooves/Defected with the FULL versions of INCREDIBLE remixes from Hideo Kobayashi and Andy Daniell. It's available on iTunes, Defected, Traxsource, Beatport and other upstanding music providers!

12/05/08: The Bargrooves : Winter Warmers mix CD has been topping charts all over the world for the last week! Andy Daniell and company have obvious done an excellent job of reaching the househeads with this one. This mix just so happens to include Andy's brilliant remix of THIS WAY (featuring Christa) which recently peaked at #7 on the iTunes Top Ten Dance Chart in Norway!

10/03/08: If any people in Japan happen to come across this page, I just want to let you know that Hideo Kobayashi has turned out another splendid reworking of THIS WAY (featuring Christa)! "Hideo's Sweetek Dub" is featured on Defected's Studio Apartment In The House. This double CD set is mixed by Tokyo's finest, Studio Apartment, and is only available in Japan. I guess the rest of the world will have to wait!

09/16/08: Hideo Kobayashi did a super smooth remix of THIS WAY (featuring Christa)! It can be found on Defected's Clubland Adventures Episode 4 compilation! It's OUT NOW so get yours from iTunes, Beatport or Traxsource!

...and stay tuned because the word on the street is that there is still one more mix on the way!

09/15/08: My remix closes out the Galactique Recordings "freelease" of CASSETTE TAPES by Taperecorder! The '30 secondish remix' experiment is an album of 30 to 40 second long songs which have been remixed by a variety of different musicians such as tim 'love' lee, someone else, miskate, toof, rob mall, pacifica, mossyrock, [blank], intergalactic faerie funk, bix, and i luv luvbirds. . They are then presented back to back with originals of those said songs. The only rule was that the remix couldn't be more than double the length of the original. Click on the artwork below to download the entire album for FREE! All I can say is, "Expect the unexpected..."

06/30/08: An edit of the orginal version of THIS WAY (featuring Christa) apprears on Defected's Bargrooves Summer Sessions compilation! There will be more news related to this but for now, it's a secret! In the meantime, check out this 3-disc set because it definitely has some classic FIRE on it!

I don't know where they found this old school pic of me in my studio/bedroom/huge-mess but it was taken at least 8 years ago back in my house in Philly.

Anyway, don't mind the grammer/spelling errors. We were talking over instant messenger and I guess the interviewer wanted to leave it as is for the most part.

There are also my All-Time Top 20 and some other goodies available down at the bottom. and when I say "goodies", I mean GOODIES!!! Get them while the getting is good!

06/08/07: Over a decade ago, the project Infinite Tracks began as a sub-label of Renaissance Infinity Recordings drawing upon my harder and more experimental side. As I gained overshadowing acceptance and notoriety as a deep house producer, aggressive productions such as these were put on the back-burner and ultimately forgotten. However, at the suggestion of a good friend, I've made a brief retrospective of the darkness and dissonance that swam the depths of my mind all those years ago. Mastered by Vincent Chourot @ Sonarium Studios and available now @ dancetracksdigital.com.

06/01/07: Worship Recordings has finally made I WANT TO THANK YOU (MOTHER & FATHER) available for download @ ClickGroove.com and Stompy.com! there's also a deep rockin' remix by Razoof and Emauel! the Worship crew has been workin' these mixes on the dance floor @ their Shakedown event for a few months now with incredible crowd response. now go get it and have a response of your very own!

05/22/07: here's the "WHATEVER" you were waiting for! more proof that i know how to rock a 303... originally licensed and released on Chunk Recordings, WAITING FOR WHATEVER and F.A.Y. awaken and reemerge from vinyl obscurity. newly REMASTERED and available on dancetracksdigital.com! on a not-so-side note, i'd like to give a special shoutout to IJ Catling for knocking out the artwork (on VERY short notice and out of the kindness of his heart) for this release, as well as, THIS IS GOODBYE!

04/26/07: After all the insinuations, promises and threats, i've finally touched down in Montreal! I'll be here for the entire summer, collaborating with my peeps and enjoying all the beauty that surrounds me.

04/01/07: Cosmo Baker shouts out THIS IS GOODBYE on Remixmag.com! and i quote... "Oh, Hollis P. Monroe. He's from Philadelphia. Once that bass line comes in, that milky bass line, it's a wrap. Then the Etta vocals come in. This is perfect end-of-the-night deep house. Philadelphia strikes again!"

10/05/06: I'm proud to announce that Soul Candi Session Three, which includes THIS WAY (featuring Christa), has been certified platinum in South Africa! It has also received a Best Compilation nomination for the 7th annual METRO FM Music Awards to be held in Port Elizabeth, South Africa!

02/05/06: the classic is back! the stupid def ep is finally available for download on dancetracksdigital.com! here's your chance to get this classic release including REFLEX SPEED, which was featured on DJ Icey's crazy popular mix cd THE FUNKY BREAKS. produced under my old school name, DJ Decent. if you don't know these tracks, you should.....
